We purchased this beautiful 1972 Chevy ElCamino from a friend of a
friend. He told us that he wanted to have a fun Saturday night
cruiser and always loved the looks of an El Camino so when this one
became available in the early summer of 2018 he didn't hesitate to
buy it. Well... Fast forward to 2020 and the Covid 19 pandemic.
Life changed and the toys are always the first to go. His loss
could be your gain !! CHECK IT OUT !!
We were told that this ELKY was restored & completed in spring
2018. It has a beautiful straight, solid & clean body including the
floors, bed & frame and was painted in it's original code 24 "ASCOT
BLUE" in base/clear. We just cut, buffed & polished it to a
brilliant show car shine. It also has a new and correct black vinyl
top and all new or redone to look new chrome, trim & weather
stripping too.
The interior is also completely new and was custom made using blue
tweed and black vinyl on the seats and door panels and is very
tastefully done.
Power comes from a early 70's 350 c.i. 4 bbl. engine that appears
to have been rebuilt during restoration. It runs surprisingly
strong and sounds really good. It is backed by a crisp shifting
TH-350 automatic transmission and 10 bolt posi-traction rear. Other
features include power steering, power disc brakes (front only)
FlowMaster dual exhaust, and 15" rally wheels with radial
tires.
This is a very nice and very clean El Camino that runs and drives
just as nice as it looks. Don't miss it !!
