Vehicle Description
This 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible is an unrestored factory
R-code car wearing Viking Blue exterior paint, top and interior.
Utilizing Ford's most powerful engine for 1963, it's powered by its
original 427/4259hp big-block V8 engine with dual 4-barrel
carburetors, solid lifter and high-lobe cam with factory cast iron
backed by a floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission and 3.50:1
rear axle. This car was stored under cover in a garage for 35 years
from 1970 until 2005 and driven occasionally to keep it functional.
It was purchased new in Ligonier, PA, and remained with the same
owner for 54 years, changing ownership for the first time in 2017.
