Vehicle Description
There's serious style in this 1969 Chevrolet C10 pickup. With the
awesome exterior, iconic interior, and all the right upgrades
(including A/C, overdrive, and a fresh V8) it seems that the only
thing this truck can't do is disappoint.
This truck gives an impression of a cut above classic the moment
you see it. We have a receipt showing a $9,500 investment in paint
alone. It was worth every penny. The freshly applied Burnt Orange
has a deep luster from a modern clearcoat shine. The distinctive
shade that gives this truck some upper-class attitude as well as a
hint of vivid performance. The chrome bumpers are also radiating
from fresh investment. Plus, there are tons of custom details, like
the smoothed tailgate, LED lights, dual exhaust tips, sporty
lowered stance, and modern 15-inch alloys. And when you check out
the liner paint in the bed, you'll see the gas cap that signals
they moved the tank to a more desirable location. Really keen eyes
will also notice that this '69 has the '68 front end. It's just
another cool custom detail that also lets you see more of the
awesome orange.
More great investments greet you when you open the door. There's a
fresh look on the new carpeting, dash pad, and door panel with
proper C10 western-style pattern. And we love the bench seat with
houndstooth fabric inserts that make this '69 C10 feel like a '69
Camaro. There has been a nice investment in modern comfort with
features like the Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, and cold
blowing R134a air conditioning. You'll love slipping behind the
leather-wrapped steering wheel mounted on a polished tilt column.
It gives you a clear view to the full upgraded Dolphin gauge
package.
Under the hood is fresh small block power with only about 600 miles
on this build. They gave this a proper V8 heart with a 350
cubic-inch unit that was upgraded with a Comp Cams camshaft, roller
rockers, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and topped with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor. You'll also spot some great supporting
components, like a gear reduction starter, HEI ignition, serpentine
belt system, and an aluminum radiator. The shorty headers add power
to the V8 while also feeding the rumbling Magnaflow dual exhaust.
This is a great all-around driver with a 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission that was rebuilt at the same time as the motor. It
provides the ideal balance for both stout performance and overdrive
cruising. The same strong and useful nature is in the 12-bolt
Positraction rear end. Add in power steering, power brakes, discs
upfront, newer suspension components, sway bars front & rear, and
the C10's trailing arm rear suspension, and you can see why this
one feels solid on the road.
