Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1977 Pontiac Trans AM which is in stunning overall condition and priced to sell.  The original Pontiac 400 engine remains in the car and the vin on the engine block is numbers matching.  This Trans Am features a terrific repaint in factory Sterling Silver with replacement decals, an original stock vinyl interior, the original Pontiac 400 engine, and the original build sheet and other dealer docs.  This Trans Am is very solid with great lines and gaps.  The underside is extremely solid with no rust or corrosion issues.  This Trans AM is finished in the desirable color combinations of Sterling Silver(code 13) over Black (code 19R) vinyl interior.  This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above and the included build sheet.  The speedometer currently installed in the car put in place by the previous owner about a year ago with only about 500 miles added on the 160mph speedo while the original speedometer comes with the car with 56,683 actual miles on it.

Exterior

The Sterling Silver exterior is in fully restored condition.  This Trans Am was treated to a professional exterior restoration in 2020 including a beautiful repaint in factory Sterling Silver with replacement decals, new bumper grills, new nose emblem, and new sail panel emblems.  The paint is in excellent condition and the body is in fantastic condition and very solid and both bumpers are in excellent shape with no flaking or faded paint.  New quarter panels were installed during the restoration.  There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos.  The underside of this TA is wonderful and very solid with no rust issues or corrosion.  The tires are new and have full tread left with less than 500 miles on them and are sized 245/60/15 and the wheels are fully restored original OEM Rally II wheels with new center caps, trim rings, and lug nuts.  All weather stripping and window sweeps are new and in new condition.  Trunk is very solid and clean with the original trunk mat and jack.  Several restoration photos are included at the end of the gallery.

Interior

The Black vinyl interior of this TA is in terrific stock condition.  The original seat covers are overall in good condition.  The carpet is in good overall condition as well.  The original dash is in great overall condition and the dash bezel is correct and recently restored by Randy Combs and looks brand new.  The original stereo is currently not working and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo.  The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact.  The headliner and package tray are both like new and were recently replaced.  All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter and the clock is working but not sure if it keeps accurate time.  The horn, all gauges, wipers, and blower motor all work.  This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This TA is in great mechanical condition and the original Pontiac 400 engine is still in the car with matching vin number, see photo.  This engine runs very well and car performs nicely.  An upgraded dual Flowmaster exhaust was installed under this TA and gives this car a true muscle car sound at idle and cruising speeds.  Ceramic coated shorty headers were installed.  Most of the suspension was upgraded including body mounts, sway bar mounts, an shocks.  A new radiator was added.  We have driven this car numerous times and it always performs well, it does not run hot, it rides tight, and is always a joy to drive.  In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well.  This TA is a nice driver that feels good on the road and at highway speeds.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs good.  The brakes do not pull and stop as they should.  Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.  The engine was removed from the car during the repaint and was freshened up and repainted.  The engine bay was also fully detailed while the engine was removed.
