Vehicle Description
From our museum collection is this extremely rare 1961 Chevrolet
Biscayne with 14k Actual Miles! It is one of a very few factory
built cars with the 409/360hp motor and the factory four speed
manual transmission! It is essentially a factory super stock car
that was never raced or modified! It was sold new to an elderly
gentleman in Kingsport, Tennessee. It had the original motor
replaced under warranty within the first year of it's life but is
otherwise the way it came when new! It is completely original
otherwise except for the show quality complete repaint of the
original Jewell Blue paint that our restoration shop performed when
we bought the car several years ago. The original paint had checked
and chipped over time but there was no other bodywork needed to the
original virgin body! It is a real survivor and surely one of the
nicest low mileage examples left! Original interior, tachometer,
transmission, rear end, trunk interior, all the chrome and trim. If
you are looking for a needle in a haystack you have found it!!!!
