Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Chevrolet's Corvette has been
America's premier aspirational dream machine for a remarkable 68
years. Generations of adolescents (of all ages!) have stared
longingly at these beauties and wondered if their turn to own one
would ever come. If, like myself, you don't happen to own any
platinum cufflinks, a car like this 1978 Corvette might be the
perfect entry point to the hobby. Although this is a running,
fun-to-drive classic, there are flaws and the car has been priced
accordingly. As with any Corvette, there is plenty to like here.
Standard features, options, and upgrades include a fully
independent suspension, 350 V8 sporting a Holley carburetor, an
Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and Accel HEI, power steering,
power 4-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, 4-speed manual
transmission, T-tops, front and rear spoilers, aluminum wheels, and
a Sony stereo. Notable features for 1978 include 25th Anniversary
emblems, a fastback design that increased luggage capacity, and a
significantly larger 24 gallon fuel tank. The interior and paint
are not stellar and could use some TLC, but there is an excellent
foundation here with which to get your feet wet in the greatest
hobby ever! Your admission into the Corvette brotherhood is only a
phone call away! Street Dreams is a full service dealership that
can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing
options.
