Vehicle Description
Powerful, sleek, upgraded, coordinated, and loaded are all great
ways to describe this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 454 SS tribute. After
all, with a well-built big block, sports suspension, updated A/C
interior, and a great color combo, this is the hardtop muscle car
that already has everything you want.
You want a car like this to make the right first impression. Not
only do you have a distinctive blue, but also it has a metallic
element to it. So when you take this hardtop out for a sunny Sunday
drive, it has an extra radiance as the sunlight dances across the
smooth finish. That kind of presentation means they also took the
time to make sure the bodywork is looking good, including doors
that close with ease and the hood lining up nicely. Plus, there are
plenty of aggressive touches for a proper Super Sport tribute, such
as the blacked-out grille, correct SS badging, a proper cowl
induction hood, and the updated rally wheel package. And the dual
racing stripes were painted on top and cleared over with the blue
paint to make sure this coupe looks both sporty and smooth.
Those stripes are also a preview of the full black interior. And
you can tell there has been some nice investments to have a deep
and dark appearance on the seats, door panels, headliner, and
carpeting. But more than just look cool, we love Chevelles for
their versatility. These might have been intermediate cars by 1970s
standards, but today you can easily share the classic car
experience with up to four family and friends alongside you.
There's even added comfort for everyone with cold-blowing modern
R134a air conditioning. But this Chevelle is really all about the
driver. You have factory-style features like the bucket seat with a
center console in-between. These are joined by upgrades like the
Budnik steering wheel, and there's a digital gauge package that has
a cool blue glow to coordinate with the exterior.
There's plenty of big block power waiting for you when you open the
hood. It has the clean look of a newer investment, and at the
center is a 454 cubic-inch V8. It has the right go-fast goodies,
like a Holley Brawler four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, and
Hedman headers feeding the dual exhaust. You'll also spot the right
supporting components, like new Taylor plug wires, an Optima yellow
top battery, upgraded pulleys, and an aluminum radiator w/dual
electric fans. As you look underneath, there are the right
suspension upgrades, like tubular front A-arms, reinforced rear
arms w/sway bar, and a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. Plus, there's
power steering, power brakes, Wilwood front discs, and a stout but
smooth TH400 three-speed automatic transmission
Complete with owner's manual, this is the Chevelle SS tribute for
those of you who want power and poise in a great driving icon. And
since that's most of us, you should hurry up and call today!
