In 1975 Porsche turned the sports car world on its head with the
release of the 930 Turbo Carrera. Innovative forced-induction
technology that Porsche was using on their Turbo Carrera RSR
dominate at Le Mans was now available to the public to drive on the
street!
The New "top of the range" Porsche debuted at the Paris Auto Show
in 1974. Porsche began selling the car the following year. The car
was finally imported for sale in the United States in 1976.
Initially the cars made around 256 BHP but more importantly made
243 LB FT of torque, the 930 was definitely a handful for all the
most competent drivers.
The Porsche Classic dept. at Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas is proud
to offer for sale this exceptional 1979 930 Turbo Coupe. This Turbo
was treated to a full glass-out respray last year in its original
Silver Metallic. An engine-out reseal done to factory specs was
also completed last year, including head studs. The very-low
mileage of 38,521 is original and adds to the overall value of this
very special car. The sale of this Turbo also includes the original
spare & jack. A turn-key 930 Turbo ready to be driven and
enjoyed.
