two-speed transfer case and front locking hubs with 3.70 gearing
?Rear-mounted spare tire and wheel ?Front disc brakes, fog lights,

painted and clear coated Have you ever wished for more space while
off-roading; more room for gear or people or both? This Toyota
Troop Carrier, a.k.a. ?Troopy,? should be able to swallow whatever
you want. A nice survivor truck, it underwent a full, frame-off
rotisserie restoration using OEM Toyota parts completed recently by
Ageless Motors in Florida. Take some time and take a look at some
of their past FJ restorations and their quality and experience is
top notch! Dressed in Voodoo Blue (our personal favorite of all FJ
colors), this Troopy?s paint and trim are in overall excellent and
fresh order while its body is straight and solid. The cargo area is
neat and the steel front bumper blends well with the exterior hue.
Please take a look at the undercarriage photos to see how
impressive it is with everything painted and clear coated. This
truck rolls on BFGoodrich Mud Terrain all-terrain tires, size
225/85R16LT at every corner with a spare tire and wheel at the rear
barn doors. Each tire is mounted on a white, full-disc wheel with
locking hubs in front and underneath there are Old Man Emu shock
absorbers. Beneath the hood is Toyota?s well-known 4.2L inline
six-cylinder motor (code 2F) and the entire engine looks very
impressive and tidy! The engine is linked to a four-speed manual
transmission and two-speed transfer case. Driver convenience
features include power steering and front disc brakes; this unit
also has fog lights. Inside, the seats have been reupholstered in
the original Tobacco Brown vinyl. The front split bench and quad
set of fold-down jump seats all appear in excellent condition. A
gray, carpeted headliner looks lush and a three-spoke steering
wheel faces the driver. The blue metal instrument panel and inner
black door liners offer great contrast but the temp and amp gauge
are inoperable. The floor-mounted shifter, transfer case lever and
a new Pioneer AM/FM stereo with MP3/CD and new speakers completes
the interior. Competition to this FJ40 in 1978 included Chevrolet?s
Suburban, GMC?s Suburban and Jeep?s Grand Wagoneer. If you?re ready
to move beyond a traditional four- or five-passenger 4x4 SUV, then
it?s time to step up to this Toyota FJ45 ?Troopy.? Stop by
MotoeXotica Classic Cars today to check out this beautiful
long-form off-roader for yourself. VIN: FJ45941550 This truck is
