1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Red and White 454 bored .060 thousandths over with 10.5:1 compression High lift cam with high duration, Nothing left to do to this motor to make it more power unless you use a Turbo, a Blower or Nitrous. All internals are forged, Intake and carb are recent as it was a test engine with a two barrel on it. Rumor has it, a Nascar built this engine for track testing purposes. The Transmission is a Turbo 400 with a reverse valve body, 2800 Stahl converter, built to handle 1000hp, Rear differential is a GM 12 Bolt with 3:73 Gears, Custom built Exhaust that sounds like Thunder. The body is straight with no rust or rot, paint is deep and gorgeous with beautiful white stripes, Hood Pins are chrome and clean, Doors do not sag, engine compartment is impeccable, the details are evident, from the firewall to the wiring to the trunk. Interior is white with a factory bench seat, no rips or tears, Aftermarket guages, aftermarket radio, B&M floor shifter. This car is extremely fast and has to be respected. No test drives without proof of funds. Inspections will need an appointment as it is kept in a safe storage facility. Wilwood braking system with power steering assist, Heat works, No AC. Headliner is in perfect shape as well as the rest of the cars interior. Aluminum Cragar Wheels staggered with Hoosier tires. Tires are good tread, but do not stick to the pavement as well as you need. Never took to drag strip, but would be interesting to see what it would run with a set of slicks on it. I only have a 5 year history on the vehicle and can only verify by previous owner. Mainly driven to car shows and used when needing stress relief.
