Vehicle Description
The color, stance, and upgraded fuel-injected V8 all make this 1969
Chevrolet C10 Restomod a true muscle truck. And with an overall
investment in quality and details, it all makes for a terrific
total package.
The first thing you notice about this truck is the bright
red/orange paint. It's Chevy's famous Hugger Orange color that was
reserved for the best muscle cars in 1969, and so it makes for a
great placement on a muscle truck. It's a modern application with
the kind of quality that gives you a great shine. The paint is far
from the only custom touch. The cowl induction hood also gives this
C10 the same aggressive presence as its '60s muscle car siblings;
the lowered stance is always sporty; and the extra meaty rear tires
on the 15-inch Rally wheels really show off where the power meets
the pavement. And while this great for show, this also never loses
that practical pickup appeal. The full tonneau covers a bed that
has the appeal of real wood while also not being too afraid to get
to work. And hidden behind the license plate frame is a proper tow
hitch and plug.
If you like the way the black tonneau provides a tasteful contrast
against the exterior orange, then you are going to love the
interior. Hugger Orange returns on the door tops and dash, and now
it's joined by a clean full black presentation. We especially like
the classic look on the seat that has the correct C10 western-style
pattern, and that's also repeated on the doors. It's very much a
vintage pickup atmosphere, but you'll also notice some upgrades.
The AM/FM radio is retro-style digital tuner. And that start button
is a clean indication of something special in the engine bay.
You'll love opening the hood at car shows because that Vortec V8 is
instantly recognizable as a modern upgrade to serious power. This
fuel-injected powerhouse has the professional appearance like it
belonged here since day one. It even has nice supporting
components, like a newer brake booster and Optima red top battery.
The motor fires up with the ease you expect in an FI machine, and
the header-fed dual exhaust gives you a terrific V8 tune. Making
the most of this full package is the four-speed automatic
transmission that offers crisp downshifts for power and an
overdrive gear for highway cruising. Add in features like power
steering, power brakes, front discs, and C10's sought-after
trailing arm rear suspension, and this is a great pickup to drive
anytime, anywhere.
This restomod is the ideal blend of vintage and new. A turn-key
package this nice doesn't come around too often, so hurry up and
call today!
