Vehicle Description
Very nicely restored El Camino that was born with air conditioning
and a 396 bigblock and now has a low mileage good running 454 big
block with new Edelbrock carburetor. Air conditioning is complete
but will need work to blow cold. Most people are having Vintage Air
installed. Strong body with new 15" Cooper Cobra tires (255-60-15)
and newer wheels. Car has been completely gone through and has new:
power steering pump and brackets, new big block AC mounting
brackets, new heater core (for car with AC), new gas tank and
sending unit (gas gage works), new big block aluminum radiator, new
altinator, new drum brake master cylinder and new brake wheel
cylinders and hoses, new water pump and thermostat, new oil
pressure sensor and water temp sensor, new starter, new
transmission pan gasket, filter, and selector shaft seal (no
transmission leaks), main seal in steering box replaced. Lights
directional and horn all work. Has a new windshield wiper motor,
but may need a new 2 speed wiper switch installed to complete. New
seat covers, door panels, headliner, carpet, dash pad, and new
instrument panel bulbs, SS dash bezel, and radio bezel (no radio)
with radio delete plate can easily be removed and your radio of
choice can be installed (dash not tampered with). New turn signal
switch in steering column, new glove box and glove box lock. New
exterior mirror, door rubbers, door fuzzies, window channel rubber,
new wind-lance, and new windshield. Freshly painted (clear coat,
base coat) done by previous owner. A nice paint job could have been
blocked out a little better, very street-able and no obvious rust
issues. Vehicle bed was completely stripped and painted the color
of the car as it should be along with the dash and package tray
plate. New floor pans (passenger and driver's) front and back were
professionally welded, seam sealed and treated. Undercarriage was
pressure washed, sanded, cleaned, and under-coated. Vehicle is one
