Vehicle Description
This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette gives you numbers-matching big block
power, a tasteful leather interior, and a sharp presentation of one
of the most desirable Corvette bodies around. So it only gets
better when it's dipped in a sleek representation of its correct
one-year-only color.
The trim tag tells us this was born Brands Hatch Green, and it's a
color we love. After all, it's named after a British racing
circuit, and this color is deep enough to almost be called British
Racing Green. And you'll absolutely be showing it off plenty
because there was a solid investment here to make sure it remains
smooth and shiny. So as people compliment the luster, you also get
to remind them how it's special to 1971 only. More than just the
paint, the whole package is quite attractive. You have aggressive
Stingray pieces, like the big block hood and large dual exhaust
tips. This is joined by elegant shining brightwork on the sharply
pointed front bumper, rocker trim, two-piece rear bumper, and
iconic Rally wheels.
A saddle tan leather interior has the look of a European-level of
sophistication against the deep green exterior. So it really fits
with the nature of this special Vette. There is a quality
appearance with a newer center console, working fiber optics, and
coco style floor mats for more of that European touch. And you've
got T-tops, power windows, and the removable rear window to easily
open up this coupe to the world. There are even provisions for air
conditioning (it will need servicing to fully function again.) And
of course, you'll love slipping behind the sports steering wheel.
It tilts/telescopes to make sure you get a good view of the large
speedo and tach. And all your auxiliary readouts are prominently in
the center so you can keep a full eye on the motor.
Lift the hood and see an engine bay filled with big-block power.
This numbers-matching 454 cubic-inch LS5 V8. It has bold but stock
look with the vibrant orange block, matching valve covers, and a
bright air grabber that still has the proper GM decal. There's
nothing quite like turning the key and hearing this monster motor
awaken. It fires up readily as the big Rochester four-barrel
carburetor lets the V8 inhale deeply. It's a string runner that
loves to give that ideal big block tune out of the dual exhaust.
The TH400 three-speed transmission was built stout to handle the
power while also delivering easy automatic shifting. It's easy to
enjoy this for anytime driving thanks to the fully independent
suspension, power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and
2020-dated new BF Goodrich rubber at each corner.
This is the cool Corvette that has a ton of American power and bit
of distinct European flair. It all makes for the big block classic
you know you need in your garage. Call today!!!
