Rare 1970 Ford Bronco U15 Truck
We have a very rare, 1 of only 1,700 U15-coded (see the dash glove box picture of the Code) 1970 Ford Broncos built, here for sale at Classic Vintage Exchange that has a lot of originality with an engine swap for more horsepower.
With the Ford Bronco's return being announced, this iconic little red truck will certainly skyrocket in collectability and value!
These sporty Broncos are already a hot collectible today, and back in the day when Ford designed these the public wanted passenger car-like road speed, comfortable seats, a smooth ride and a weather-tight cabin.
We have done a lot to this little Bronco to make it the one you just have to buy!
To power this 1970 Bronco, Ford put in the 302 cubic inch optional V-8 engine, replacing the smaller 289, with two-barrel-carb trim and with a Baja gasoline-friendly 9.5:1 compression ratio it had about 210 hp and 300-lb.ft. of torque.
Ours has an upgraded 351 Ford small block with more power and torque sporting an Edelbrock performance carb, painted and detailed engine, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, performance spark plug wires, newer distributor, and the factory style air clean, with it and the engine block and intake being painter in Ford Racing Blue paint, and backed by the manual transmission an factory rear end.
At the Bronco's introduction, Ford offered three body styles: a wagon, a roadster and a pickup. The roadster was dropped after two years, but the pickup lasted for six.
Our U15 is painted in driver quality red with white top, grill, and rear bumper, offset by the chrome front grill, black painted bed with mats, and a rear spare tire too.
It has a great front windshield, wipers, side vent windows, and rides on mag wheels with White Letter Off Road tires.
The interior has matching black front bucket seats with white door panel inserts and arm rests, a painted dash, black floor coverings, factory steering wheel and original gauges that are still in good condition.
The question will be when you buy this 1970 Ford Bronco we have for sale here at Classic Vintage Exchange is whether to leave it in the very original condition and enjoy it as you would have back in 1970, or to do a restoration and bring it back to like new?
It’s your choice, but you had better hurry to come get it today.
