casting number correct, 409C.I. V8 fed by dual Carter AFB 4-barrel
carburetors sitting atop the correct Winter's aluminum intake. That
old-school big-block is mated to a 4-speed Muncie manual
transmission and a recently rebuilt 3.70 Positraction rear axle for
maximum traction off the line. Other options and features on this
intimidating Impala include power steering, power brakes, tilt
steering column, Hurst shifter, and factory tachometer. As
mentioned before the interior sports a bright red vinyl that
features comfortable bucket seats and a center console to house the
Hurst shifter. As you can tell from the amazing condition of the
trunk, this car is very solid and in excellent condition overall.
