Vehicle Description
The bold red makes you take immediate note of this 1969 Chevrolet
C10 stepside restomod. And everything from the fuel-injected
stroker V8 to the extra glossy wood in the truck bed tells you this
is a quality build. So you know this is the kind of pickup that you
want to take a while to look at the details... but don't linger too
long, because you know this is the kind of custom classic truck
that everybody wants.
The first thing you notice about this truck is the paint. Chevrolet
is known for performance machines in bright red, and so this
restomod pickup gives off an instant attraction. And if you get
closer, you'll find the paint has the kind of gloss that can only
come from a modern clearcoat. This was all part of the frame-off
restoration completed in 2017. Plus, the 17-inch REV wheels not
only look fantastic, but also allow for some much more modern
rubber. There are well-integrated modern custom details, like the
crystal clear headlights, chrome front bumper w/integrated fog
lights, and even the glossy Brazilian Cherry wood of the truck bed
has been updated for an attractive tight grouping. It all makes for
subtle upgrades that give an added gravity to the desirable classic
stepside look.
The exterior red returns inside on the doors and dash. But the best
place we love the red is on the stitching for the custom bench seat
done in a supple leather. The door panels have also been done to
match for both a comfortable and premium setup. You even have nice
extras like LED lighting and Dynamat sound insulation. This is
built with the driver in mind. That's why you have the NK4 sports
steering wheel and a full set of gauges w/upgraded tach in the
middle. Plus, that Go-EFI readout mounted in the center of the dash
is your gateway to something special under the hood.
The engine bay is done for both show and go. Those super-slick red
inner fenders funnel all your attention to the tidy and powerful
heart in the middle. This is a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8. It has
been fortified for power with Speed Pro pistons, a Howards
camshaft, Eagle crank, hydraulic valves, forged rods, APR bolts,
CNC heads, an aluminum intake, and Hooker headers. It's topped with
a FiTech fuel injection system for added power and consistency.
It's an awesome build with a full package said to make a big 425
horsepower. It fires up eagerly like a proper FI machine should,
and the dual exhaust's growl lets everyone know you have a power
pickup. The B&M TH350 three-speed automatic is ready to handle
the power, and it feeds a 12-bolt Eaton Positraction rear end. The
fresh suspension components give you confidence on the road. Plus,
this has good driving features like power steering, power brakes
w/discs up front, and modern/grippy Nitto 420S tires.
This truck has a cool look, cool stance, cool interior, and red-hot
power. It all makes for a terrific custom you know you need to get
in your garage. Call now!
