1970 GMC 1500 longbed stepside 1/2t 2wd. Dysart, Iowa $26,500
Fully restored truck, just finished. Fresh 350 sbc, fresh th350 trans. Drivetrain all gone thru and repaired as needed. New drum brakes on rear, new disc brakes on front. All new lines, booster, mc, prop valve, shocks, ball joints, u joints. Motor is fresh 30 over, hyperutechtic flattops, fresh heads, pretty stock with a small cam, intake, 600 holley, and HEI. Stainless headers, 2.5" exhaust. Small stall converter, aluminum radiator and electric fans. 3.73 posi rear end. Frame was all cleaned and coated with Eastwood rust encapsulator. Very clean trailing arms. Front end aligned.
Any rust was cut out and replaced with new and properly sealed. Body and paint professionally done at Koops auto in Vinton. Tangier orange is the color and is original on this truck. Bed is oak that was stained and epoxy sealed for outdoor use on both sides. All new bumpers, lights, grille, trim, and all seals.
Interior and all glass new, tilt and tach, cd player with center dash speaker. ALL of the wiring on this truck is new front to rear, including the dash harness. New gas tank and sending unit with new line to pump.
This is basically a new truck. Tons of time and money spent. Must see to appreciate. Selling to fund projects with my sons for high school.
