The Cadillac Eldorado was a luxury car manufactured and marketed by
Cadillac from 1952 to 2002 over twelve generations. In 1998 all of
them came from the factory in two-door coupe configuration.
However, we have a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado Custom Convertible here
at Skyway Classics that has been professionally converted into a
classy convertible.
Mechanical
Ours has the DOHC 32 Valve NorthStar V8 engine that delivers 300
horsepower @ 6000 rpm and torque of 295 lb-ft @ 4400 rpm, that
looks just as original as it did when in left the Cadillac factory
back in 1998. That engine is very strong and smooth with the
4-speed automatic with overdrive helps yield up to 28 MPG on the
highway.
This Eldo has all the options you would expect as well including
power steering, power anti-lock brakes, ice-cold Air Conditioning,
and all sitting in the original looking engine compartment with the
NorthStar 32 Valve V8 engine cover on it.
Interior
The interior is stock and very well cared for. The brown leather
bucket seats are plush and comfortable as is the matching rear seat
while it has all the options like power seats, windows, and locks,
Tilt Steering/ Cruise Control, Bose Sound System AM/FM/ Cassette/
CD Player, mirrors, and heated seats.
The woodgrain dash and door panels are nice as is the factory
gauges and radio package. It all looks very rich looking with the
light tan carpeting and door panels.
Exterior
Two door Cadillacs always look great and sporty, but out 1998
Custom with its black power convertible top looks even better.
This Cadillac really draws attention with its Black shiny paint
job, chrome 7-spoke custom wheels with whitewall tires that even
have a gold stripe too, chrome trim around the body, and quad
exhaust tips.
Conclusion
This 1998 Cadillac Eldorado Custom Convertible we have here at

a ton of options, and that NorthStar V8 engine under the hood.
