Our 1942 was number 191 of 200 built pre-World War II and she only had ONE other owner. We have a newspaper article showing no more automobiles were manufactured after December 31, 1941.
We have tons of detailed documentation including documentation from the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village Research Center showing she was assembled on Jan 13, 1942 and shipped Jan 22, 1942 on sales order #71641, documentation from original owners through the time John purchased the car in 1983 to today. The coupe has a newly re-built 1949-1953 8 cylinder flathead Mercury engine. All remaining are original.
Along with being a rare collectable car, this 1942 Lincoln interacted with a number of Hollywood celebrities. She appeared with Jim Carrey in “The Majestic” and Mark Harmon in “I’ll Remember April.”
