The Jeep brand has a very strong following and the assortment that
the Jeep CJ7 offered was extensive. One of the very rare editions
was the Limited Edition in 1982 and 1983 with just 2,000 believed
to be produced these two years. They were a more luxurious setup
from the standard CJ7 and very recognizable with its unique
features.
This stunning 1982 Jeep CJ7 Limited Edition is in remarkable
condition and a very rare setup. Sold new out of Gainesville GA
where it remained its entire life. The vehicle had only two
previous owners and it has remained in the stock setup its entire
life. The Limited model was produced to provide a little more
refined version of the CJ7 with the following setup; more
insulation, upholstered headliner, leather wrapped passenger grab
handle, padded roll bar, special wheels with colored centers,
softer shocks, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, 5spd
manual transmission, AM/FM Stereo and A/C.
This rig is very nice and drives remarkably well on or off the
road. These are very difficult to find and very few still exist in
the stock setup. With just under 92k miles this is for sure going
to be a classic and highly sought after setup. The mechanics of
this CJ7 are in great working order and even the light under the
hood still works. The eye catching wheels are in excellent shape
and really make this car stand out from the rest. The very rare
5spd manual functions great and shifts with ease. New 30in BF
Goodrich tires were installed and the only modification that we
could find from the stock setup. A clean lower mileage CJ7 is
pretty difficult to find - then add the Limited Edition setup and
this is a diamond in the rough.
