the last 25 years and has always been stored inside. The 1966
Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible is a fun sports car that has a
large following. This Corvair Monza is in a great color combination
of Red with a black top and black vinyl interior. The simulated
wire wheels and white wall tires give it a classy upscale look. The
engine is a rear mounted 164 CID 6-cylinder that has plenty of pep
and shifts through a Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission. The
interior is black vinyl with bucket seats. The engine has just been
tuned up and it runs great. New brakes and new tires have just been
installed, so this drop top Corvair is ready to cruise and enjoy.
Only 10,345 Monza convertibles were produced in 1966, so this is
not a car you see a lot of. The Chevrolet Corvair was produced from
1960-1969 and is still the only American built car with a
rear-mounted air-cooled engine! The Corvair name was derived from
combining Corvette and Bel Air while giving a nod to the cars Air
cooled engine. This is a nice entry level driver quality Corvair
that would be great for cruising around and getting into the
classic car hobby This vehicle is eligible for an Extended Service
