This 1988 BMW M6 is finished in black over gray leather and is powered by a 3.5-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 17? Style 32 wheels, a sunroof, air conditioning, power-adjustable front seats, front fog lights, an onboard computer, and an Alpine cassette stereo with a subwoofer. The car spent time in California, Arizona, Georgia, and South Carolina before its acquisition by the seller in 2009. It now shows 110k miles, and service in February 2020 included replacement of an oxygen sensor. This E24 M6 is now offered on dealer consignment with service records, factory tools, an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car was reportedly refinished in its factory black color during previous ownership. Equipment includes front fog lights, an air dam, body-color bumper corner trim, ellipsoid headlights, a sliding steel sunroof, a rear spoiler, and M6 badging.

Amenities include power accessories, power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning with additional rear controls, cruise control, an onboard computer, and an aftermarket Alpine cassette stereo with a subwoofer. A split is noted in the leather in front of the gear shift lever.
The four-spoke airbag steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows just over 110k miles, approximately 2k of which were added during current ownership. The selling dealer notes an inspection light is currently illuminated.
The 3.5-liter S38 inline-six features individual throttle bodies and was factory rated at 256 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. Records indicate an oxygen sensor was replaced in February 2020, and a selection of service records included in the sale are shown in the gallery below.
