This is a real 138 Super Sport. Stunning color combination. Very
desirable big block, 5-speed with a/c, ps, p 4 wheel disc brakes
and more.
EXTERIOR: What a gorgeous car to look at. The color is beautiful,
the polished wheels and the stance are just right. The body looks
to be in excellent shape. I don't see signs of rust or damage, its
smooth all along the bottoms. Under the doors are clean, the
driver's full quarter was replaced. The panels fit nicely, doors
shut nice. The paint is laid out real nice, it has a very glossy
clear coat finish. No vinyl top. Door jambs are painted slick. All
of the trim, chrome and stainless are very good. It has dual bowtie
mirrors and a rear mounted antenna. The windshield is new. The
weather strips and window seals have been replaced. The chrome 15
inch Cragar wheels and BFGoodrich tires are new, wider and taller
in back.
INTERIOR: The white interior really pops against the turquoise. It
has been completely restored. The seats are very comfortable with
new cushions. The upholstery is new. Also new door panels,
armrests, handles and cranks. All the metal trim is painted to
match the outside. There is new turquoise carpet on the floor. The
center console was repainted, the clock is ticking, it has an SST
shifter. I really like what's in front of me- a custom steering
wheel on a tilt column with billet levers. The instrument cluster
looks stock at 1st glance but it has RetroTech Dakota digital
gauges incorporated into it. There's a retro stereo, electric Auto
Air climate controls and custom vents. Overhead is a new white
headliner and visors, fits tight as a drum. The dome light and the
light in the console works.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 454 motor has new aluminum heads and intake
with a FAST self tuning fuel injection system. It also has HEI
ignition system and hooked headers. It uses an Aeromotive fuel
regulator. It is dressed up with a matched set of Chevrolet chrome
valve covers and air cleaner. New chrome alternator, it has billet
engine pulleys, a new power steering pump and an upgraded steering
box. The aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and a new water
pump keep it cool. The battery is bolted down properly. New power
brake system with dual reservoir master and a cadmium plated
booster. The engine bay and under the hood is painted the same
color as the car.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is complete with a jack and spare. The metal
is very clean, gray and white spatter paint was neatly applied. The
bottom of the trunk and jamb are painted glossy like the car. It
does have a new mat and weather strip. There is a CD changer and
fire extinguisher.
UNDERSIDE: The front end is completely new and detailed. It is
upgraded with fat tubular UMI control arms. In back it has new
shocks. All new brake system upgraded to disc at all 4 wheels with
red calipers. New brake lines, stainless braided hoses and the e-
brake cables are hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is still
fresh, it has a high torque starter. It has a new bellhousing and
it's upgraded with an Tremec 5-speed transmission. New trans mount,
shift linkage and clutch. New custom made drive shaft, new joints.
In back it has it's original 12 bolt rear end. New fuel system-
tank, straps, sending unit, lines and pump. Great sounding exhaust
with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers.
We get a lot of Chevelles and this one stands out because the
stunning colors. Everyone here was talking about this one. It has
all the desirable features and it is a real Super Sport!
