This is one of only 181 estimated K code convertibles built! This
one has striking factory colors. It has a fresh restoration to Hi
Po specs. The K cars have the same engine as the Shelbys.
EXTERIOR: Absolutely gorgeous factory color, rare too. The car was
taken apart, front clip removed for a quality restoration. The body
looks pristine, it's straight and smooth. Doors, windows and trunk
fit real nice. The doors close real nice even with the windows up.
The Dynasty Green is laid out evenly. The clear coat is extra
smooth and glossy. It looks like you could reach right into it. All
of the chrome is new- bumpers, grill, fog lamps, emblems, correct
antenna, door handles, mirrors, top opening trim, taillights, gas
cap and even the vent window frames. The stainless around the
windshield and the wiper arms are polished. The black convertible
top is new, crystal clear plastic window. New weatherstrips and
boot for when its down.
INTERIOR: It has been completely restored. Down on the floor is new
carpet, new shift bezel and boot. Upgraded Hurst shifter, the
original reverse lock out shifter is included. It also has upgraded
embroidered floor mats. There are seat belts in the front and back.
The seats have been reupholstered and recushioned. The door panels,
armrests and kick panels are new. It also has new cranks and
handles. In front of me is a new dash pad, instrument bezel and
glovebox door. The interior metal was repainted. It has a Rally
Pack on the column which is a tachometer and clock with quartz
movement. The deluxe steering wheel does have a couple minor
cracks. The interior lights work. It is upgraded with a Mustang
retro stereo. In the glove box the light works and has the owner's
manual and the optional emergency flashers.

the correct components. It has a rebuilt Autolite carb. The engine
compartment is detailed up very nicely. The engine bay is clean
metal with satin black paint. The bottom of the hood and the jamb
is painted like the body. The radiator, shroud and hoses are new.

over the spare. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are
painted smooth and glossy. New well liner and weatherstrip.

bushings, balljoints, etc. New shocks front and back. It has a new
disc brake conversion in front, rebuilt brakes in back. New brake
lines. New fuel tank and sending unit. New dual exhaust system with
GT tips through the rear valance. Bottom of the motor is still new,
has correct cannister fuel pump. The wide ratio 4-speed is clean.
It has original rear with 3.89 gears. The floors are solid metal
repainted a gloss black.
The Mustang is the most popular collector car in the world. This is
one of the rarest, most desirable. The 65 Shelby fastbacks sell up
to $400,000. This has the same HiPo motor but it's a convertible!
It is more rare too, they made 562 Shelbys in 1965! Aside from all
that, this is a gorgeous car, restored to look better then new and
is a lot of fun to drive!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
