Classics is a rare 1st generation 1965 with the iconic pony car
styling it is famous for.
It has the long hood and short deck that proved wildly popular and
inspired a host of competition including the Camaro, Firebird,
Cougar and others.
Mechanical
Our Mustang has the C Code engine which was a 289 cubic inch with a
4-barrel carb, chrome open air filter and valve covers, the block
is in the correct factory shade, factory intake, all the correct
hoses and wires, accessories, all sitting in a factory correct,
painted and detailed engine compartment all backed up by an
automatic transmission.
Interior
Our 1965 has a refreshed interior that included from the factory
front seat belts, a glove box light, and a padded dashboard,
correct black seat covers are stretched over factory bucket seats
in front and matching rear seat, black carpet and door panels,
great dash with all the correct factory gauges and speedometer,
Mustang radio, and three-spoke chrome and wood steering wheel.
It has a new black convertible top, which stows under a boot, and a
rare smaller T-handle topping off the automatic transmission
shifter.
Exterior
The 1965 White paint on our Mustang is nice and is complimented by
all good chrome, 289 and Mustang emblems, Cragar SS chrome mag
wheels, white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA tires, and great chrome
bumpers.
