This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Tribute represents the hardtop
look you love and the big block power you demand. So when you see
everything from the bucket seat interior to the new wide radial
tires, you'll see this one has far more appeal than just its value
price.
There are just some of us who can't get enough of the flying
buttress design of this pillarless hardtop Chevelle. It gave these
classics an instant upper-class image. That's especially true on an
example with such straight sheetmetal and quite uniform gaps. The
chrome bumpers and ribbed rocker panels shine brightly with a look
of quality. Madeira Maroon is a great 1966 color for this
sophisticated coupe. The finish is far from perfect, but we leave
it up to you to decide to use the value price for added upgraded or
just enjoy what is already a driver-ready classic coupe. This one
also takes its Super Sport upgrade quite seriously with all the
right elements, including the vent trim hood, blacked-out grille,
correct badging, and iconic Rally wheels with a fresh set of BF
Goodrich T/As.
The black interior is the way you'd like a muscle car to be. While
this is the factory-correct color, there seems to have been a
proper investment to refresh the upholstery, carpeting, door
panels, and more. It's a driver-ready environment with factory
front bucket seats, a center console in-between, an auxiliary gauge
trio, and a B&M sports shifter. So while the stereo has been
upgraded to an AM/FM digital tuner with aux input, we bet your real
favorite soundtrack comes when you roll down all the windows and
listen to what's under the hood.
At the heart of this Chevelle is a big block dressed in plenty of
polish. It makes this 396 cubic-inch V8 quite attractive even
before you tell people it's a year-correct block. This one inhales
deeply through an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Pro Comp
aluminum intake. The Hooker headers add power as they connect to
the dual exhaust with rumbling Thrush mufflers. It's a strong and
powerful setup, that's why it's nice to have three-speed automatic
transmission with a shift kit to keep you in the right power band.
And that feeds a stout 12-bolt rear end to get the power to the
pavement.
This is the Chevelle is upgraded all the best SS 396 features. So
at a price like this, you know you need to hurry for the deal. Call
