Vehicle Description
1972 Chevrolet Corvette Matching Numbers Big Block Coupe. This
Corvette is finished in gorgeous, correct Code 979 Targa Blue
Metallic paint accented by a clean, also correct Code 404 black
vinyl interior. Under the hood lies the massive LS5 454CI Big Block
V8 engine rated at 270HP from the factory and enough torque to keep
you pinned back in your seat. Best of all the engine and
transmission are both numbers matching! This model year is the last
to be graced with chrome bumpers on the front and rear due to
federal crash mandates. It is also the last year for the vacuum
operated winshield door and removable rear window. Over 27,000
Corvettes were produced in 1972 but only 3,912 of them were
fortunate enough to be equipped with the RPO LS5 454 Big Block
engine making this one highly sought after. The engine compartment
on our Corvette is nicely detailed and features a chrome air
cleaner and valve covers. This C3 is also nicely equipped and
features power steering, four wheel power disc brakes with all new
brake lines, power windows, 4 season factory air conditioning,
bucket seats with center console, AM FM stereo, tilt / telescopic
steering column, and correct rally wheels wrapped in BFG Radial T/A
Tires. It does not get any better than a big block Corvette with
factory air conditioning especially one that is numbers matching!
