Buick produced 70,000 Electra models. Out of 70,000, only 7,181
convertibles were produced. What makes this convertible rare is the
425 CID dual quad nail head engine option. This was a special order
that was dealer installed. The 225 lettering stood for a deuce and
a quarter. This is an incredible 1964 Buick convertible that is in
excellent (mostly original) condition. The red exterior has very
good paint and chrome and trim. The white convertible top is new--
not even a year old and includes new pad, roof to window seal, tack
strip and cables.Interior is the original red bucket seat console
interior. It presents very well with only one small crack in the
dash and a small tear on the passenger seat. The interior trim is
sharp too.Engine is the 425 CID dual quad nail head engine, rated
at 360 HP but drives and feels more like 375-380 HP!! Rear end is
posi-traction.Factory options include tilt steering, remote trunk
release, power drivers seat, cruise control, power antenna, remote
drivers door mirror, signal search radio, power top, and AC.This
Buick Electra 225 resides in Wyoming and is available to view by
appointment. The current owner has kept this car extremely well
cared for and keeps all mechanicals up to date.
