Vehicle Description
1966 Chevy Nova SS. One rare Nova in this condition and yes, it is
a clone with original SS rear panel and all emblems. Car has all
original panels, trunk and floors with a small patch in the rear of
the trunk barely visible and done 25 years ago. The car has a small
block chevy, 350 3 speed transmission with mild shift kit and a
3:55 posi 10 bolt rear. The engine is timid and just a driver, NOT
a race car by all means but gets out of it's own way. The interior
is very much original, the rear seat, headliner, door panels,
entire dash (and it's in amazing shape), most glass (all but
windshield)...is all original! Steering wheel too! The original
color of Sierra fawn paint is laser straight with maybe the best
body lines, you or I, have ever seen on a box Nova! The paint has
aged very well because it has been garaged and well taken care
mostly going to car shows (always waxed) and events but does have a
blemish on the hood the size of a dime that has been there for
22-23 years. The car has won multiple trophies and was featured on
a calendar as well! The car runs and drives well and also has a
pretty clean engine compartment, as you can see, but to seriously
show it I would change the valve covers. It has power steering and
power disc brakes. Underneath the very clean and nice ORIGINAL SS
hubcaps are very clean rally wheels so if you decide to put beauty
rings and center caps on, it would take you 5 minutes. There is an
original console with an aftermarket shifter neatly placed in there
and some upgraded gauges were added, as you can see, to monitor
everything going on in the engine. The giant tach on the steering
wheel could get ditched to look more original IMO. You would have a
difficult time finding a nice clean Nova like this which came out
of Florida originally about 22 years ago. Look at some others and
then come and see this one and you can also see my 1967 Nova which
is right next to the 66! Vehicle Location is at our clients home
and Not In Cadillac, Mi.
