Body & Paint: The body and paint on the Impala look great! The
paint job has a flake to it that pops out of code correct madeira
maroon color. There are no chips or scratches in the paint, however
we did note a couple scuffs from a previous buff job on on the
chrome trim that we were unable to buff out.
Engine & Transmission: The Impala holds a non numbers matching
283ci V8 engine with an automatic transmission. The car is equipped
with power brakes, power steering and updated hoses and wires.
Interior: The interior of the car shows well with the code correct
black bucket seats with the automatic shifter in the center
console. The dashboard is clean and appears to be original as well
minus the updated radio.
Wheels & Tires: The Impala is sitting on 15in Chevrolet wheels with
BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires size P235/60R15 in the front and
P275/60R15 in the rear. The car has powered drum brakes all the way
around.
Suspension: The car rides on gas shocks and coils in the front and
gas shocks with coils with a sway bar and a torsion bar in the
rear. There are long tube headers connected to a custom 3in dual
exhaust.
Electrical: Everything in the Impala appears to work as it
should.
Glass: The glass on the Impala all the way around is in excellent
condition with no cracks or scratches.
History: We acquired the Impala from a private seller out of
Wisconsin. The car decodes as a true Impala SS!
