We have a real sleeper of an injected V8 engine 1987 Chevy S10 here
at Adventure Classics. This S10 is the ultimate sleeper with an
upgraded interior and wild paint job too.
Engine & Drivetrain
The heart and soul of this truck is the transplanted 5.7 Liter
Tuned Port Injection Corvette L-98 engine that was installed and
backed by an 4L60-E automatic transmission.
The engine is 350 cubic inch rated at 245 horsepower and 345 ft.
lbs of torque and 9.5 to 1 compression ratio which is more than
enough to get you on down the road in this lite little truck as
well as het you great fuel mileage.
The engine has great appeal in the looks department too with finned
valve covers, chrome dress up items, TPI injection, power steering
and brakes, air conditioning, all sitting in a great painted and
detailed engine compartment.
Interior
The interior looks just as nice as it is completely customized
starting with the two-tone cloth bucket seats and matching
headliner and door panels, blackface gauges in the teal body
colored painted dash, an AM/FM/CD Pioneer stereo system, Chevrolet
logo floor mats, and a center console.
Exterior
The teal exterior is attention getting with its side stripe
graphics and features great body lines, Cowl Induction hood, bed
cover, chrome front bumpers, rear bumper roll pan, 5-spoke chrome
mag wheels with Cooper Cobra Radial GT performance tires, and a
great dual exhaust system with chrome dual tips exiting out under
the rear roll pan.
