The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from
March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a
new class of automobile known as the pony car.
The Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved
wildly popular and inspired a host of competition and we have a
great example here at Skyway Classics. It is a This 1965 Mustang
that has been restored with it's sharp ed paint over a red interior
with a white convertible top.
Mechanical Specs
Our Mustang has the C Code engine which was an optional 289 cubic
inch with good horsepower with the factory carb, factory air
cleaner assembly and valve covers in the correct factory gold
shade, factory intake, all the correct hoses and wires,
accessories, all sitting in a factory correct, painted and detailed
engine compartment and backed up by an automatic transmission.
Interior
Our Mustang has Mustang has the great red interior, almost every
component inside this Mustang is refurbished or brand new including
the twin front bucket seats and matching rear seat, padded
dashboard, red carpets on the floor and beautifully finished door
panels.
It has the white convertible top, which stows under the boot, an
automatic transmission, red and a chrome factory three-spoke sport
steering wheel.
Exterior
The bodywork is great with great red paint, beautiful chrome
bumpers, stock grille, and 289 badges on the front fenders to
signify the 289 V8 in the engine compartment while riding on the
factory spoked mag wheels and thin whitewall tires giving it the
correct sporty Mustang look.
