Clean southern car that underwent a body off frame restoration.
EXTERIOR: Beautiful and unique original color- code 45 green mist.
The body is very straight looking down each side and across the
tops. The doors fit really well. Both quarters were replaced with
full panels at the factory seams. It is smooth all along the
bottoms, no bubbles. It has no ugly vinyl top. The metallic paint
is laid out evenly, it has a deep clear coat that is polished very
smooth and glossy. The stripes are painted the proper dimensions
and are smooth to the touch. It looks like all of the chrome and
trim has been replaced. Up front the bumper, headlight bezels and
hood pins are new. The emblems, wheel well moldings, mirrors, door
handles and stainless trim around the windows and gutters are new.
In back the bumper, emblem and SS rubber pad has been replaced. The
windshield is new. The door jambs are painted real nice, bottom of
the doors are spotless. They have new weatherstrips and sill
plates. The 14 inch wheels look new including the center caps and
trim rings. BFGoodrich tires look new too.
INTERIOR: It looks like it has been recently restored. Down on the
floor it has new carpet, reproduction mats and the correct 4-speed
shift boot and bezel with a bench seat Hurst shifter. The seat
upholstery, door panels and armrests have been replaced. Overhead
the mirror, visors and headliner are new. The dome light works, has
an LED bulb. In front of me is a new deluxe steering wheel and new
dash pad. The instrument bezel is clean, it is not broken or
drilled. It does have an aftermarket tach, temp gauge and oil
pressure gauge in the factory holes. It also has a retro stereo in
the factory location.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 454 motor has been rebuilt and it is
upgraded with some new performance aluminum heads, Edelbrock
aluminum intake with a dual feed Holley carb, HEI ignition system
and headers. The components look new- the alternator, fuel pump,
pulleys, brackets, original style chrome valve covers and air
cleaner. Features include power steering and brakes. It has a new
cadmium plated power brake booster, new master cylinder. The engine
bay is painted very smooth and neatly. It has a Delco battery
topper, the battery is bolted down. Washer bottle is hooked up. It
has factory horns, new rubber splash shields over the
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid metal with gray/aqua spatter paint. It has
a new mat, weather strip and rear seat insulation. The green paint
is glossy under the trunklid and the jamb.
UNDERSIDE: It has the F-41 suspension which includes sway bars and
boxed rear control arms. The front end is completely rebuilt. It
has upgraded fat tubular control arms, new shocks. Looking up at
the motor it is very clean. Fuel pump and starter look new. The
bell housing and 4-speed look clean too. Trans mount and shift
linkage look new. It has a custom aluminum driveshaft connecting to
the 12 bolt rear end. The fuel system is new including the tank.
New exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and cowbell tips. It has disc
brakes in front, e-brake cables are hooked up. The metal looks
really impressive. The floors are bone dry, inner rockers and lower
quarters are clean.
