This 1985 GMC 1500 has a distinctly cool look. And within that
style is also the substance of work-ready features, a comfy
refreshed interior, proper V8 power, and an overdrive transmission.
It all adds up to a lot of features wrapped in a well-priced
package.
The two-tone black and silver have a timelessly good look, and
there's a nice gloss from the more recent respray. It's a great way
to give this truck an instant distinction. And speaking of
distinction, there are cool custom details, like the Chevy grille,
painted rear step bumper, and bold red pinstripe that runs down the
sides and wraps around the rear. And while the whole package looks
great, right down to the bright chrome bumpers and side trim, there
is also a very practical side to this pickup. The bed is ready for
work thanks to fresh Duraliner bedliner. So this is the vehicle
that can really turn heads everywhere even while it's doing weekend
chores.
That bold red pinstripe on the outside also happens to be a preview
of the full bold red interior. There was a more recent investment
here, so it all looks vivid and fresh on the door panels,
carpeting, and velour seat. Plus, the red joins black in the dash
for a striking look that also make this look quite uniform inside
and out. This was born a factory A/C truck, and so some servicing
and components can return the function. But really the best breezes
will always come from opening the side vent glass and sliding the
rear window for those old-school pickup breezes through the
cab.
The 350 cubic-inch V8 looks good under the hood with the orange
paint job radiating within the black engine bay. The way it fires
up and runs reaffirms the well-respected feeling you get throughout
this truck. There's a nice dual exhaust with a sweet tune that
makes you want to hit the open road. And that's a lot easier to do
thanks to a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly
overdrive. There's even power steering, front disc brakes, and the
grip of newer General tires.
This is the two-tone truck with upgrades that are both bold and
practical. It all makes for an attractive vintage GMC offered for
quite an obtainable price. Call today!!!
