The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is a true icon. So it only get better
on a well-priced Chevelle tribute that has a very cool/coordinated
color combo, V8 power, and four-on-the-floor.
When you know muscle machines, the '70 Chevelle coupe is your dream
ride. This one year seemed to represent both sleek and muscular all
in one glance. You really see this fastback-style coupe body done
the bold shade of Cranberry Red. Between a good gloss in the paint
and an upgrade to the chrome bumpers later in life, this Chevy has
an instant attraction. Plus, it's a proper Super Sport tribute with
the cowl hood, hood pins, SS badging, and black racing stripe
painted on top. And those classic 15-inch Cragar SS wheels have an
extra meaty set in the rear. It's all part of a well-done package
that means you don't even have to let the exhaust rumble for this
one to be intimidating.
Where the exterior is red with black accents, the color theme
switches inside for an attractive color combo. After all, the black
velour upholstery is quite comfy, and the red piping on the seats
is a nice touch we don't often see. Even the floor mats follow this
two-tone style. There are cool classic elements like the ultra-wide
speedometer, grippy dual-spoke steering wheel, and Delco AM radio
that's still on display. But the under-dash oil pressure and temp
gauges as well as the Hurst floor shifter are there to let you know
there have been some nice investments in the engine bay.
Under the hood is a terrific small block power. The smooth SS front
panel and slick black inner fender walls funnel your attention to
the bold orange block in the middle. This 350 cubic-inch V8 has
attractive polished components like the air topper and Chevrolet
valve covers. But what really makes it great is that it inhales
deeply with a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor and
Edelbrock EPS intake. And it exhales with power as headers feed the
stainless dual exhaust. You get to take firm control over this
power and soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission.
In fact, control is well in hand with features like power steering,
power brakes, front discs, and deep treads on the wide Firestone
Firehawk Indy 500 tires.
So if you love a muscle machine that put you in the action, this
Chevelle SS tribute is has the style, substance, and price to do it
right. Call today!!!
