The incredible 1956 Chevrolet Two-Ten Townsman Station Wagon featured here is finished in the stunning factory color combination of Crocus Yellow and Laurel Green over a Charcoal interior. This particular example was completed at the Tarrytown assembly works and was subsequently sold new by Wilcox-Rau Chevrolet Inc. in New Britain, Connecticut. The Townsman Station wagon has been under incredibly meticulous care from new, having been in collector level ownership since 1983. Today the 1956 Chevrolet presents in largely original specification with most of its original two-tone paint and an impeccably kept original interior. An incredibly low 67,661 miles are present on the odometer, a number which does indeed reflect the total mileage accrued from new! With such originality and remarkably low mileage, it is no surprise that the Antique Automobile Club of America has recognized this classic Chevrolet with a Historical Preservation of Original Features (HPOF) award plaque on the front grille.
