Regent Classic Cars is proud to have acquired this exquisite 1963 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible.This 1963 model was from the middle of the seventh generation of the series 62 which ran from 1961 to 1964. To many a collector and car enthusiast the seventh generation was the most aesthetically appealing compared to its previous versions.
In 1963 Cadillac brought forth a bolder appearance with modest restyling which could be complimented with a choice of 143 available options. Its gorgeous body lines with redesigned deck lid and hood, and where 4.6 inches in length were added to the front fenders it demanded attention. The rear fins were trimmed down slightly and complimented with chrome trim. The grille was reworked and the stainless slightly modified at the factory. These subtle changes with the removal of body side sculpturing produced a more streamline sleek appearance which shows on this flawless car.
This Cadillac was the recipient of a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration where not even the slightest detail was overlooked by the craftsman that performed the task. The original 390 CID engine was replaced with a completely rebuilt,Era correct (1964) 429 CID 4 BBL at the time of restoration and currently shows under 500 miles. The remainder of the drive line components were completely rebuilt as original and are leak free.
Stunning detail was spent in the interior as well with all new leather upholstery over rebuilt original frames and fresh cushions. The carpet has been replaced with all new carpet and matching red. The bright works are all as new with all the gauges and accessories functioning as the factory designed them. With a brand new white vinyl convertible top, rebuilt and refinished frames and zip in rear glass window this stunner is ready for the road and sure to be a trophy winner at any car show.
