this 1968 Volkswagen Beetle Turbo conversion. The car comes to us
from Washington State where it was treated to some performance
enhancement; most notably a turbo conversion kit, custom exhaust,
modified rear deck lid, weber carbonator, performance ignition,
electric fuel pump, upgraded bucket seats, custom gauges, lowered
suspension, and Porsche wheels.
The VW Beetle has captured the hearts of the American consumer
since the late 50's. Their simple design along with their cute
appearance and reliability made them a favorite among fabricators
and creative auto enthusiasts to modify them into many different
configurations. The car here is surely interesting, it runs well
and is a blast to drive.
