1969 Chevrolet Camaro- Resto-mod
This car will go across thye auction block at Greensboro Classic auto auction (In Greensboro North Carolina) on friday July 23rd early afternoon.
Another beauty presented by GQ Creations-Auto that has undergone a complete body off restoration with most of the components being replaced with new or refurbished.
The body is nice and straight with beautiful two stage blue paint, charcoal metallic stripes and complimented with dark tinted windows and lots of exterior chrome.
The interior is a very cool combination of the deluxe factory style with touches of modern technology. Comfort and upgrade features include Air conditioning, tilt steering column, plush carpet, custom wrapped seats with 2018 Malibu full power bucket seats and Dakota digital’s highest-grade gauges.
The engine compartment features a brand new stroked 6.6L fuel injected power house that dynode at 509 hp and 513 ft lbs of torque that comes with manufacturers nationwide warranty. The engine is highlighted with the inner fenders, valve covers, air cleaner and closeout panel all painted in dark metallic charcoal paint matching the exterior stripes.
The engine is mated to a 700R4 four speed transmission with a 5th speed lock out button and hooked up to a Chevrolet rear with a new Eaton true trac Posi unit and 373 gears.
The overall handling and ride of the car has been upgraded with all new steering components, Global West subframe connectors, tubular control arms and sway bar, QA-1 adjustable coil over shocks and a rack and pinion feel steering gear box.
To stop the upgraded power, we have added Wilwood front slotted/ drilled disc brakes with multi piston calipers and drilled/ slotted rear disc brakes with an integrated emergency brake.
Once you drive this car, you will quickly discover, there is little comparison from an all stock set up and the way this was completed. The comfort, ride, stability, handling and performance is what makes this extra special from most other 1969 Camaros.
