It was a unique trim package combining vibrant paint colors, coordinating cloth interiors unique to the Explorer, and bright trim. In 1974, the Explorer package "A" included the following: Special color-coordinated cloth seat trim, Color-keyed interior accents, Bodyside tape stripes, Bright front bumper guards, Bright windshield and drip rail moldings, Bright box rails, Bright low-mount Swing-Lok mirrors, Explorer name plates, and Mag-type wheel covers.
