Vehicle Description
This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette is instantly attractive for its great
price. But what will really make you drive this one home with all
smiles is the strong-running enhanced small block power and the
control of four-on-the-floor.
This is the debut year for the C3. They really wanted to announce a
substantial sports car with the extra-long hood, aggressively
pointed shark-like nose, flowing fenders, and stylish flying
buttresses for the coupe's roof. It's the kind of awesome total
package that will always keep a car like this in demand. The blue
on this coupe is a deeper tone than the factory LeMans Blue. The
value price leaves room in your budget if you are to return it to
stock. But you already know the value in having such a complete,
clean, and full brightwork package car like this that's ready to
hit the streets.
The correct full black interior is great for getting down to speedy
business, and this is a true driver's car. Bucket seats, a
wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a T-handle shifter immediately put
you in the center of the action. The full gauge package means a
large speedo, auxiliary tach, and a full set of readouts sitting
central at eye-level. The T-tops come out to let the sunshine in,
and this was the beginning of the removable rear window era. So you
really get to have the wind come through the car in a
convertible-like experience whenever you feel like opening up your
coupe.
The 350 cubic-inch V8 is know as one of the best all-around small
blocks going, but the Chevy was not to that level yet when the
first C3 debuted. But this one get to deliver that ideal balance of
power and weight. This 350ci has some added flair with Mickey
Thompson valve covers and chrome Holley air breather, but what
you'll really appreciate is the added performance. This has been
upgraded with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake,
and headers feeding the newer stainless dual exhaust. Best of all,
the four-speed manual transmission means you take complete control
of this car's power and rumble. And of course, the Corvette is one
of the best all-around sports cars of its era thanks to the fully
independent suspension and four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is the iconic Corvette that's at a gone tomorrow price. So you
know you need to call today!
