Vehicle Description
1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible First Owner: 1965 to 1993,
Second Owner: 1993 to present - Frame Off Restoration in 2010 -
Numbers Matching 327ci/300hp V8 - Factory Rally Red (Please note:

number of late C2 Corvettes lately - a majority of them in red, but
this is the first one that is a red over red color combination.
It's a simple color combination that is so pleasing to the eye as
it flows over the curves of the exterior and the double bump
dashboard. The other details on these late C2 body style cars such
as the small round front turn signals, pop up headlights, thin
chrome bumpers, fender vents, and bright wheels with knockoffs are
all pleasing to the eye, and an integral part of an iconic and
revolutionary design. Corvettes and the color red just go great
together. The all american sports car that has stood the test of
time, and is still desirable to all ages today. This car, which was
frame off restored in 2010 and is finished in the correct Rally Red
(code U) is no different. Top up there is a nice contrast to the
Rally Red thanks to the black soft top. Inside the car is the
correct red vinyl interior (code 407) featuring bucket seats,
vertically mounted radio, three spoke wood rimmed steering wheel,
and shiny shift knob. When the car was restored, the interior was
not completely restored - many of the original pieces were retained
such as knobs/switches, gauge bezels, door panels, radio, and
shifter surround. Seat upholstery, carpet, and the soft top were
replaced during the restoration. The aforementioned components
create an honest look for a special car that is 55 years old. Under
the hood, the 300 horsepower 327ci V8 offers a 4 BBL carburetor
sitting atop the intake manifold. A 4-speed manual transmission
handles gear selection. Options include power steering, front disc
brakes, reverse lockout shifter, and 15 multi-spoke wheels with
white stripe radials. This Vette is clean inside, outside, and
underneath. The car had a frame-off restoration in 2010. This red
on red C2 Vette Roadster is a beautiful car that Corvette
collectors should consider. A 327ci V8 with a 4 speed, convertible,
numerous options, and nicely restored! Be sure to check out all the
