2011 Porsche GT3 Cup Car For Sale - Naturally Aspirated 3.8/450 HP
Flat Six Engine LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2011
Porsche GT3 Cup Car Raced in more than 20 race series around the
world, including the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA and the Porsche
Mobil 1 Supercup, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is the world's most
produced and most used GT race car. As such the Porsche GT3 Cup has
been the vehicle that launched the professional careers of sports
car champions like Sven Mller, Philipp Eng, Richard Westbrook,
Rene Rast, Nicki Thiim, Earl Bamber and Jrg Bergmeister. Starting
with the same base architecture as the road going 2011 Porsche GT3
RS, the cup car loses all interior creature comforts and gets a
complete spec roll cage. A HANS device-ready racing seat and
six-point harness are included alongside the required fire
extinguisher and quick-release steering wheel. Power is sourced
from the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six with 450 horsepower
and runs it through a six-speed sequential manual transmission. The
rear-engined, rear-wheel-driven race car weighs a tidy 2,646 pounds
without the driver. Aerodynamic aid comes in the form of a stout
rear spoiler measuring 66.9 inches in width and front splitter that
rides around 0.6-inch lower to the ground than the factory GT3 RS.
Wider wheel wells enable the fitment of three-piece, 18-inch alloy
wheels and sticky Michelin rubber. Braking force arrives via
six-piston front and four-pot rear calipers with two master brake
cylinders for the fore and aft. The front rotors measure 15 inches
wide; the rears are 14 inches. This GT3 cup car is the perfect
track weapon for use at any open-lapping track day. It's a great
platform to take your racing skill to the next level! Additional
