The Fiero was conceived as a two door, two seater with a lot of fun
factor. GM wanted a fun and entry level sports car that could bring
a younger crowd into the Pontiac showrooms. Developed to provide
plenty of excitement for the driver as well as maintain an
impressive gas mileage so the car could be a daily driver and not a
3rd car for the family. The mid-engine layout was perfect to
maximize handling, aerodynamics and braking. After it's debuted in
1985 many nice upgrades were developed over the years to get more
out of this fine little car.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1984 Pontiac Fiero Pace
Car for purchase. It is car number 259 and is registered with
Heritage Museum 500 Speedway. The car appears to be all original
wearing original paint and graphics. The current owner has owned it
for the last 15 years and has driven it on the race track in
2006,2011 and 2016. The car was only used for car shows and
parading around the race track. It is powered by its 2.5L 4
cylinder EFI paired with an automatic transmission. Other
highlights include sunroof, Am/FM/Cassette player, air
conditioning, tilt wheel, rear defrost, spare tire/jack. The car
runs and handles very well and is ready for instant enjoyment.
