For Sale: 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ in Kentwood, Michigan

We are very proud to bring to market this highly restored 1979 Toyota FJ40 in Rustic Green with just under 34k miles. The vehicle was treated to a 2yr restoration and was completed in July of 2020. All new suspension was added to this vehicle with no expense spared. The fuel tan was removed from the interior of the cabin and moved to below the frame to provide safety and less smell of fuel in the cabin. All new brake components were added coming right from Toyota and providing plenty of braking power. All new electrical wiring was added and all lights, turn signals, wipers, and horn function properly. Just about every nut or bolt has been replaced with stainless steel fittings and remain in fantastic condition overall. Engine and transmission were removed and all components rebuilt, replaced or reconditioned.

The paint was stripped down and reapplied with factory Rustic Green color and was done professionally and shows as new. All trim works shows in great shape and it is very evident that this was done with an open checkbook and done to stringent specs. Inside the cabin you will find all new upholstery with custom green stitching to compliment the exterior color. Further the rear seats were replaced with a forward facing bench seat that provides more safety and much more enjoyable ride for the rear passengers. Steel floors were covered with a custom rubber mat that covers the entire floor of the cabin to provide more insulation and sound deadening aspects. Front seats are complimented by 3pt seat belts as well and all new door panels fitted to doors. Vehicle runs on brand new 15in wagon wheels with the dog dish caps and brand new tires. One other cool feature is a rare roof top version that provided air inlets above the windshield that would move air into the cabin for the front and rear seat to make better airflow and double insulated the top.
