This SWEETHEART of a truck started life as a volunteer grass firetruck in Minot ND and was finished in White. The firetruck was sold to a fellow in Goodland, KS who wanted to restore the truck but ran out of ambition and sold it to International truck salesman (Steve) here in Ohio in 2012 who has restored numerous vehicles. Obviously Steve has connections with International and a passion with the brand. Steve decided that the truck would look better in the 1974 International color of Bimini Blue which we agree. A rust free body and frame, no rust on cab corners, rockers, fenders, doors, the only rust issue was the bed floor because of the water tank mounted in the bed when it was a firetruck and that was replaced. A GORGEOUS color and Steve tried to get as close as he could to an original interior and the 200 received a complete new interior to compliment the new BEAUTIFUL paint job! Being the perfectionist Steve is, he removed the engine and had local renowned engine builder Bob Beech refresh the all numbers matching engine, just bearings, rods, gaskets NO MACHINE WORK! Steve also had local Brown's Transmission go thru the transfer case and automatic transmission, again all numbers matching! 1974 was the first year for disc brakes, one and only year for the flared bed fenders with 1 extension to cover the tires. Steve replaced/rebuilt/refurbished all mechanical items such as brakes, power steering, radiator, etc. There is NO WAY YOU could restored this ONE OF A KIND International for what we are selling this for!
