Vehicle Description
STK 2851 1985 Chevrolet El Camino
The first-generation El Camino was only built for two years,1959 &
1960. However it became a future classic and in 1978, Chevy
introduced the 5th generation El Camino. This model was based on
the mid-sized Chevy Malibu with a strengthened chassis design that
was slightly longer than the sedan. Our 1985 El Camino is a unique
custom version of this hybrid sedan/pick-up. The body was
professionally resprayed (2016) in 2-stage 'Monza' Red. Visual
accents include dual hood scoops, grill insert, SS body/hood
stripes, 'Intimidator' logos, sport mirrors and subtle front/rear
air dams. The rear quarter panels are fitted with a distinct
taillight package, hydraulically assisted fiberglass tonneau cover
and full bed liner. Black 18" American Racing alloys mount
low-profile Goodyear Eagle radials. The grey cloth interior was
also refreshed in 2012 and is in good condition. This El Camino is
equipped with air conditioning, tinted windows, factory gauge
package, cruise and tilt wheel. Horsepower is provided by a 350ci
GM crate motor that was installed approximately 12,000 miles ago.
It is set up with an Edelbrock 4V carburetor, sounds strong through
dual exhaust and backed by a GM 3-speed automatic. Power steering
is standard equipment as are power-assisted front disc/rear drum
brakes that provide plenty of stopping power. Our stunning El
Camino is going to make its new owner very proud. ALL VEHICLES SOLD
