Mercedes-Benz OM617 5-cylinder diesel engine. The engine in this
car runs like a clock; slow and steady, just as it should. Once at
operating temperature, this car runs incredibly smoothly. If you
let the glow plugs heat, it fires right up every time! The air
conditioning and heat both work properly, and this car is a
pleasure to drive. It isn't as fast as a turbo 300D, but it has
enough pickup to be comfortable and will get you where you're
