You instantly notice a car like this 1937 Ford Coupe. But more than
just the shining vivid paintwork, as you dig into the details, it
reveals a performance-built V8, upgraded suspension, overdrive
transmission, and a custom A/C interior. So you start to see how
this is an all-around awesome build.
This grabs your attention with an ideal shade of bright red that
has a modern clearcoat finish so it loves the sunshine. You can
tell they took their time applying the color, and it highlights the
crisp curves of the body when the sunlight hits it. The receipt
indicates that paint and body seems to have been completed in the
last 5-8 years, and it has been in careful hands the whole time,
and so it has the kind of history you want when it's your turn to
cherish a custom classic. This has terrific vintage details, like
the hood ornament and two-piece rear window. They meet with
well-integrated upgrades, like the flush-mounted blackout
taillights and the 15-inch polished alloys with extra meaty rear
tires that gives the coupe its awesome stance. This has the best in
brightwork elements, like the shining grille of the sharply-pointed
front end, curved chrome bumpers with no overriders, and bright
housing around the iconic teardrop headlights.
The tan interior makes for a stellar color combo against the red
exterior. And in fact, the whole inside is a carefully crafted
custom that's made for both showing off and comfortable driving. It
all starts with the seats. These dual buckets are high-back units
with nice headrests and superior bolstering. Plush carpeting,
custom door panels w/armrest, power windows, and cold-blowing air
conditioning are all part of this high-quality package. And are you
looking for the stereo? An AM/FM/CD/XM unit is part of a cool
overhead console that adds to the custom feel while giving you a
cleaner-looking dash. And you know this is a driver's machine with
features like the billet pedals, leather-wrapped banjo-style
steering wheel on a tilt column, and a full set of clear Dolphin
gauges.
The engine bay is ready for primetime, too. You have the clean red
inner walls that funnel your attention to the all the polished
pieces in the middle, like the etched valve covers, matching air
topper, alternator, and more. But what we really love is the
substance within the style. This is a hardy 327 cubic-inch V8 that
has been possibly bored .30 over and has been enhanced with Comps
Cam camshaft, Edelbrock intake, and topped with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor. Plus, headers add extra power while also
adding to the sweet sound from the dual exhaust. This also has
great driving upgrades like the Walker aluminum radiator,
transmission cooler, and 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission
w/highway-friendly overdrive. Making sure this total package hooks
up with the pavement is a stout Ford 9-inch rear end. This has an
assured feeling on the road thanks to upgrades like the tubular
A-arm front suspension, Posies crossmember, Nova-style power front
disc brakes, power steering, and a nice set of street tires.
It's hard not to get excited when a classic has all the best
upgrades. The maintenance records and build receipts are just
evidence how complete and thorough this build is. So don't miss
out, call today!
