This 1957 Chevrolet Belair Sport Coupe is finished in two-tone Matador Red with a white top over a newly installed beautiful Red and Black interior and is powered by a dual-quad 283ci V8 paired with a close ratio three-speed column shift transmission. Equipment includes wheel covers with spinner emblems, new white wall tires, tinted windows, power steering and original radio. The car was acquired by the seller in 2000, and new tires were installed in 2019. This Belair is being offered with a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.
Originally finished in the same color combination the car was disassembled and repainted in 2009 and shows beautifully as you can see in the pictures. All chrome and stainless steel trim has been either re-plated, polished or replaces and emblems around the car are all new as well.
The dash and trim is painted body color and features front and rear bench seats upholstered in original factory colors and materials, along with matching door panels. Black carpets cover the floors and are protected by rubber mats with Chevrolet logos.
A original two-spoke steering wheel with chrome Belair ring sits in front of beautiful stock and working gauges and the odometer shows 90,241. Generator and oil pressure warning lights flank each side next to the flashers utilizing the correct colors and functionality.
The 283ci V8 features dual four-barrel carburetors and sends power to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three speed manual transmission. Engine compartment is impeccable, with correct battery, stickers, hoses, clamps and all details; looks brand new throughout. The trunk space is equally as nice and is complete with original spare and jack. The underside of the car was restored to factory specs as well included red oxide paint and shows as well as the top side of the car.
